Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our clients dedicated team. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service. You will be working on a shift pattern of early and late shifts, ensuring that our fleet remains in top condition and meets all safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy goods vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults efficiently.
- Perform safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT tests.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards and training provided by the dealership.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician.
- Relevant qualifications in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
