As anActivities Coordinatoryou will providestimulating and meaningful activitiesfor our residents. You willtailor these activities, taking into account individual skills, hobbies and interests, aiming to improve the quality of life, whilst promoting and upholding our residents privacy, dignity and independenceat all times.
Your role is to create ahappy and caring atmosphere; puttingresidents needs first, providing a wide range of physical, social, emotional and psychological activitiestailored to the individual. Werespect differencesand recognise our staff and residents will have different needs. This is avaried rolewhich may include youaccompanying residents to the local country fair, leading achair exerciseclass,reminiscingwith a resident about heir childhood holidays, ordoing arts and crafts.
No previous experienceis required for this role as we willprovide full training. This role would be suited to you if youenjoy leading and organising activities, areorganised,you aresociable, active, lovingbringing people together.
