We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper with experience in Xero to manage the financial processing of invoices, expenses, and purchase orders. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and proficient in financial reconciliation, looking to work in a structured yet flexible environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Process approximately 80 financial transactions daily, including invoices and expenses.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Issue purchase orders and manage order confirmations.
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Strong experience with Xero accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in financial management.
- Ability to process a high volume of transactions accurately.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
