Job Opportunity: Credit Controller
We are excited to announce an opening for an experienced Credit Controller within a well-established accounting firm in Hadleigh, Essex. This role can be either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate's availability.
Role Overview:Â We are seeking a dynamic, hardworking, and passionate individual who is self-motivated and possesses excellent communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with our accounting software, Iris, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage invoices for all clients
- Oversee debt management, including contacting clients for payments
- Handle reception duties and client-facing services
- Answer external calls professionally and take messages efficiently
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate closely with the Partners
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Provide general administrative support to employees
- Organize the Directors' diaries and coordinate client meetings with account managers
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of client engagement and billing procedures
- Professional telephone manner
- Proactive and hardworking attitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks creatively and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills
- Team player
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Iris software is preferred but not essential (training will be provided)
- Prior experience in an accountancy firm is preferred but not essential
