Job Opportunity: Credit Controller

We are excited to announce an opening for an experienced Credit Controller within a well-established accounting firm in Hadleigh, Essex. This role can be either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate's availability.

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, hardworking, and passionate individual who is self-motivated and possesses excellent communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with our accounting software, Iris, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage invoices for all clients
  • Oversee debt management, including contacting clients for payments
  • Handle reception duties and client-facing services
  • Answer external calls professionally and take messages efficiently
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate closely with the Partners
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Provide general administrative support to employees
  • Organize the Directors' diaries and coordinate client meetings with account managers

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of client engagement and billing procedures
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Proactive and hardworking attitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks creatively and efficiently

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Iris software is preferred but not essential (training will be provided)
  • Prior experience in an accountancy firm is preferred but not essential
