Electrical Engineer

Benfleet, Essex

Full time, Permanent positionHours: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: up to 38,000 per annum DOE

Our welcoming Client is seeking experienced electrical engineer

The successful candidate will have strong experience in electrical engineering, with a minimum qualification or equivalent to ONC Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

In this role you will:

  • Following a period of training, you will provide both office based technical support as well as travelling to give on-site service to the company’s customers worldwide.

  • Working within the Projects Office, providing project engineering support and coordination/management of specified customer projects or orders.

  • Working with HMI software and SCADA systems.
  • Using knowledge of PLC’s HMI software and SCADA systems to provide in-house programming and fault finding is essential for the position.

  • Working with EPLAN and AutoCAD based software.
  • Liaising with electrical design draughtman, project engineers and electrical workshops in all aspects of the company’s electrical/electronic engineering activities.

  • Provide technical support to customers’ sites worldwide.

This role offers an excellent package which is normally detailed at interview stage with Noble Recruiting.

Person Specification:

  • ONC qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is seen as a minimum initial requirement. Development of further relevant qualifications will be supported and encouraged.
  • A knowledge of PLC’s, HMI software and SCADA systems.
  • An understanding of EPLAN and AutoCAD based software.
  • Experience relating to Single and 3 Phase Power Transformers would be beneficial.
  • An electrical manufacturing, installation or maintenance background is an advantage.
