The Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish teacher to join our Modern Foreign Languages department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who can inspire students to develop a love for languages and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Spanish to students in KS3 and KS4.

  • Ensure a high standard of teaching and learning, adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of all students.

  • Prepare students for exams and assessments, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.

  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the school to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.

  • Promote the use of Spanish in and outside of the classroom, fostering a love for languages.

  • Contribute to the development of the department and wider school initiatives.

About You:

  • A qualified teacher with a degree in Spanish or a related field.

  • Experience teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4 (previous experience teaching at KS5 is desirable but not essential).

  • A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and engage students.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning, with a focus on student outcomes.

  • An understanding of the curriculum and the ability to assess and track student progress.
