Vibrance has an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our teamin Benfleet. You will join us on either a Full-Time or Part-Time permanent contract, and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £23,177 per annum, plus benefits.

Parkstone Avenue is a registered care home providing 24-hour care for people with learning and physical disabilities aged between 18 and 65. As such you will be expected to work a mix of shifts including some weekends, bank holidays and night sleep-ins.

About the Project Support Worker role:

We’re looking for a Support Worker who wants to make a real difference by joining a team that takes a refreshing approach to care.

You will maintain high standards of service, design personalised support plans, provide emotional support and help residents to live a full, active life both at home and in the community. This will include going out for activities such as music concerts, days by the sea, fun fairs, meals out and holidays etc.

Ability to drive a small 7-seater minibus or use public transport to support service users to access the community, some of whom may be wheelchair dependant is essential to the role.

Working hours:

Full-Time: 37 hours per week

Part-Time: 20 hours per week

Our requirements: a can-do attitude, good problem solver, good communicator, caring & supportive, friendly and approachable and a professional attitude. A willingness to learn and develop.

You will work closely with residents, providing them with physical and emotional support in all areas of day-to-day life, both inside and outside the home (e.g., personal care, mealtimes, recreation and leisure, attending medical appointments etc).
