Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in the Benfleet Location. You will support children with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential in a supportive environment.
This role is needed on a full time basis. This role is to start ASAP and is a term time only position.

Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly in an educational setting.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A passion for working with children with SEN
- Experience in a school setting (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with learning difficulties or SEN.
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and managing behaviour.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
- Help students appreciate and value their learning experiences.
- Stay current on all school policies, including safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety.
- Keep up-to-date with the SEN Code of Practice and maintain the highest standards in everything you do.
