Shifts: Morning and Afternoon (rotation)
Mornings: 06:00:14:15, Monday to Thursday. 06:00-12:00, Friday
Afternoons: 14:15-22:30, Monday to Thursday. 12:00-18:00 Friday
Overtime: Available 7 days a week.
Duration: Permanent

Responsibilities:
* You will be conducting the overhaul of rail equipment.
* As a member of the Mechanical Fitting team, you will be responsible for the reassembly of Rolling Stock components following deconstruction and maintenance of parts.
* You will work alongside the other members of the Mechanical Assembly team to fit sub-assemblies to the bogie units including but not limited to: brake callipers, sensors, motors and gearboxes.
* You will be involved with the stress testing of final products prior to sign off and dispatch to the customer.
Role Requirements:
* Time served NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering or related field.
* Experience of Mechanical engineering in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficient use of basic hand tools.
* Ability to read and interpret part manuals, schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
* Knowledge of general manufacturing processes.
* Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
* Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and bend/stoop on a regular basis.
