We are looking for a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team at a leading school in Bishops Stortford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and ensuring they achieve their full potential.

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored education for students with a range of needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. You will collaborate with the SEN department, classroom teachers, and support staff to ensure that each student receives the individualised care and attention they need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering personalised learning programs for students with special educational needs
  • Working closely with the SENCO, parents, and external agencies to support student progress
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and achievement
  • Assessing student progress and adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual needs

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working in SEN environments
  • Strong understanding of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and experience with individualised education plans (IEPs)
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
  • A collaborative approach to working with students, staff, and parents
