My Client is an established Fleet Company, due to their ongoing success, they are looking for a HGV Yard Assistant to join their team! They have been established for over 50 years with many sites across the country.
HGV Yard Assistant duties:
- To be responsible for shunter / vehicle movements on site.
- Valeting HGV's when required.
- Operating shunters and general vehicle movement throughout the site.
- Planning and organising vehicle movement in line with workshop.
- Assist in loading and unloading of shunters on to inbound and outbound transport.
- Assisting in the MOT lane
- To operate the forklift in line with duties.
- General HGV Shunter duties
- Forklift licence is desirable
- Experience driving Class 1 or 2 vehicles
- Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation
