As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other developmental challenges. • Student Engagement: Provide one-on-one and small group support tailored to individual student needs.
• Assist with Learning: Facilitate access to the curriculum by helping students with daily tasks and adapting activities to suit various learning styles.
• Behavioural Support: Implement strategies that foster a calm, positive classroom environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and SEN coordinators to follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support personalised learning.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student development, giving valuable feedback to help shape educational strategies.
