Role OverviewAs a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our supportive educational team, working closely with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning challenges. You will play a key role in delivering tailored support that helps foster positive behaviours, encourages academic progress, and enhances personal growth.
Key Responsibilities- Student Support: Provide one-on-one and small-group assistance, making learning accessible and engaging for students with SEN.
- Individual Education Plans (IEPs): Assist in implementing IEPs and behaviour management strategies to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Adapted Curriculum Support: Help modify tasks to meet individual needs and abilities, ensuring every student is included in the learning process.
- Progress Tracking: Observe and track student progress, sharing insights and constructive feedback with teachers and parents to contribute to personalised development plans.
- Experience: Previous experience with SEN students is beneficial, but above all, we seek individuals who are patient, empathetic, and motivated to make a difference.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a nurturing, patient approach are essential.
- Qualifications: Basic GCSE Maths and English proficiency is desirable.
