SEN KS4 Teacher
Location: Berkeley, Gloucestershire
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 pro rata (M1 UPS3) Plus £3,000 Welcome Bonus*
Hours: Part time - up to 32 hours per week

We are currently seeking a SEN KS4 Teacher, and we welcome applicants with various specialisms.
Main Purpose of the Role:
As a SEN Teacher with Simply Education, you will provide high-quality teaching to children and young people with SEMH and other complex needs, including anxiety-related challenges and behaviours. Some students may have multiple learning difficulties, and experience working with SEMH or ASD is essential.
Key Duties:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of the curriculum, addressing the educational, physical, and social needs of the students.
- Collaborate with other staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Plan and deliver lessons using short, medium, and long-term strategies to meet individual needs.
- Set, monitor, and review personalised learning targets to optimise student progress.
- Monitor, assess, review, and report on student work and progress to parents, team members, senior staff, and other relevant bodies.
- Continue professional development through training and research.
- Create lesson plans and engage in self-reflection to assess outcomes.
- Participate in the review of Statements, EHC plans, PEP, and LAC reviews.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
- PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or an equivalent teaching qualification, along with evidence of in-service training.
- Experience working in a special school environment, particularly with pupils who have SEMH needs.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate diploma in SEN.
- Experience delivering a differentiated curriculum to students with a range of learning needs.
