Learning & Development Manager Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Day to day people/ team management
  • Develop and report on ROI metrics
  • Implement and manage follow-up programs for training, coaching, and mentoring to ensure application of learnings
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to identify learning needs across the organisation; and to design and implement relevant learning initiatives, solutions and interventions
  • Coordinate additional training to address identified gaps
  • Assess the success of development plans and help work colleagues gain the most of learning opportunities
  • Strategic planning & forecasting
  • Overseeing learning initiatives and measuring their effectiveness.
  • Continually review and delivery across the business training when required
  • Oversee all training programmes across the business - including Sales, Leadership, Associate Directorship and Enhanced training programmes
  • Organising and hosting quarterly reviews with all training personnel to evaluate programmes and to continually evolve and develop the programmes
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external learning providers
  • Represent and deliver L&D annual company presentations
  • Work with the senior leadership team to monitor and develop/ enhanced training programmes for Consultants and Leaders who have been in the organisation for several years
  • Evaluate individual and organisational developmental needs, which may include sourcing external providers and facilitators
  • Ownership of L&D budget and present this to the board on a half yearly basis

To be successful you will need:

  • People management experience within an L&D function
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel and Develop (CIPD Level 3 or above) - Preferred
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing training programs is crucial; specifically targeted at Trainee’s or graduates and experienced sales professionals
  • Proven experience of developing L&D strategies
  • Strong Project Management skills are essential for overseeing the development and delivery of training programs. This includes managing budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Experience within recruitment sector
  • Ability to assess training needs, evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, and make data-driven decisions is vital
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in learning and development, and be proactive in adopting new methods and technologies
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems, including MSOffice
  • Familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms is important for administering and tracking training activities
