- Document Preparation: Producing correspondence and documents, including probate applications, wills, and LPAs, through audio/copy typing.
- Billing Support: Drafting and preparing monthly bills, ensuring all disbursements are accurately claimed.
- Client Contact: Engaging with clients both in person and by phone, handling initial inquiries professionally.
- Diary and Meeting Management: Scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, and preparing facilities as needed.
- File and Record Management: Setting up new files, maintaining client records on ALB, and ensuring Lexcel compliance.
- Administrative Support: Supporting the Private Client department with GDPR compliance, file management, and participating in departmental marketing initiatives as needed.
- Experience in a legal secretarial role, ideally within Private Client work (at least 2 years experience)
- Strong audio typing skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, client-centered approach
- Ability to manage a varied workload efficiently and meet deadlines
- Proven IT proficiency including case management systems, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
