This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leader manufacturing a range of sensors and speed instrument solutions. You will be working as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets.

Our client requires candidates who have proven testing instrumentation equipment, including electronic testing and fault finding experience working within a similar manufacturing/engineering environment.

Relevant Skills & Experience:

  • Main activity will be to support the system factory assembly and test.
  • Will be required to support qualification activities for this system at test houses in the UK.
  • This role will involve testing of various instrumentation systems where the engineer will be required to validate performance of the system following a qualification test.
  • Opportunity to grow this role to supporting other installations in the UK through preventative maintenance activities

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience communicating with the engineering departments to resolve issues.
  • Three years' experience of hands on testing instrumentation equipment. This should include electronic fault finding and testing.
  • You should ideally be familiar with instrumentation systems, oscilloscopes, the use of signal generators, etc.
  • Ability to prepare appropriate procedures in relation to testing requirements and plan, specify and record the activities.
  • Good team player and communicator, flexible approach to multiple tasks, taking responsibility for own actions.
  • HNC Qualification required at minimum - HND would be preferred - in a relevant subject.
