We are currently recruiting for an exciting Branch Manager for a local family run, well established estate agency in Berkhamsted, who deals with properties throughout Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Bedfordshire. They have gained an excellent reputation for selling and letting quality homes throughout the local areas, and they pride themselves on being experts within the Estate Agency industry. The successful candidate must be a real team leader, strong motivator and an experienced problem solver on sales progression. You must be technologically savvy, with excellent client retention, and either previous experience or someone looking to step up into a Branch Manager role. Within this role you would be inheriting a pipeline so would earn commission from month 1 of starting in the role. You must hold a full UK driving licence with access to your own car. Salary package and benefits for the role of Branch Manager include:

  • Basic £35,000 inc car allowance
  • OTE £60,000 - £70,000
  • Mon to Thurs 8.45am - 6pm
  • Fri 8.45am - 5.30pm
  • Every other Sat 9am - 5pm with a day off in lieu (5 day week)
  • Free parking locally
  • 21 days holiday plus rota'd bank holidays (day off in lieu for each bank holiday worked)
  • Holiday increase for year service

The role of the Branch Manager will include:

  • Motivating the teams and helping them hit the branch KPI’s.
  • Training and mentoring.
  • Overseeing the offices' sales progression and assisting the negotiators when problems arrive and ensuring their sales progression is complete up and down chains and buyers and sellers kept informed.
  • Client retention by providing exceptional communications and innovations to get properties sold.
  • Property brochure write ups.
  • Keeping web portals fresh and up to date.
  • Assisting me with valuations where required.
  • Signing clients up on take ons with the professional photographers.
  • Mining for valuations and new business.
  • Chain building on new instructions.
  • Dealing with any buyer that is a potential vendor

The ideal candidate for this Branch Manager role will include:

  • Have previous experience in a management role, or looking to step into one
  • Must have a full understanding of property processes
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be target driven
  • Be well spoken and presented
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Also have outstanding organisational skills
  • Be able to inspire and lead others
  • Working to strict deadlines with a focus on detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and be a car owner
