Overview:
Supply Desk are currently seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school based in Berkhamsted on a long-term contract possibly then leading into a permanent position. The role will be starting as soon as possible on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be teaching English.

About the role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classroom settings, complemented by the necessary qualifications. They should demonstrate effective planning skills tailored to meet the diverse needs of students and possess excellent classroom management abilities. A positive and proactive approach is essential for fostering meaningful relationships with students. Must have good knowledge of English Language and Literature. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills and build on your existing experience in an educational environment.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have the right to work within the UK
- Have experience working within a classroom
- DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
- Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
- Good subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- A QTS or PGCE or overseas trained teacher to UK equivalent
- Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
