Overview:

Supply Desk are currently seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school based in Berkhamsted on a long-term contract possibly then leading into a permanent position. The role will be starting as soon as possible on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be teaching English.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have the right to work within the UK
  • Have experience working within a classroom
  • DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
  • Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
  • Good subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
  • Have strong classroom management skills.
  • A QTS or PGCE or overseas trained teacher to UK equivalent
  • Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
