An urgent temporary position is available for a Stores Operative in Berkhamsted for at least the next 3 months.
The role involves picking and packing goods, conducting stock checks, and using a stores system for deliveries, requiring physical capability for lifting stock.
Candidates should ideally have some warehouse experience, but full training will be provided, making it suitable for students or recent graduates.
The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, and the pay rate is £12.50 per hour plus holiday pay accrual.
Applicants must be available to start in the coming week and commit to the role for the full 3 months.

We now have an urgent temporary requirement for someone to work on-site with a client of ours based in Berkhamsted as a Stores Operative for at least the next 3 months to help provide cover.

This company need someone to come in and help right away and would be great for a switched on student/grad/school leaver looking to fill the next 3 months or gain some experience, or equally if you've got warehouse type experience this could be an idea assignment for you.

In this role you'd be helping to pick and pack goods, working with cycle counts, stock check, goods-in, clearing the stores area and more - This is largely a physical role but there are some elements where you'll be using the stores system to book deliveries etc.

The need is for someone to come in Monday to Friday, working 8am to 5pm with an hours break spread throughout the day - You'd be paid weekly at £12.50 per hour + holiday pay accrual.

Please note that full training will be given and safety boots/equipment are all provided.

Some of the key duties you will be undertaking are as follows:

Picking/Packing
Unloading goods
Logging goods in and booking deliveries (via the system)
Sorting warehouse stock

Requirements:

Must be physically capable of lifting stock.
Prior experience in a warehouse role would be of use but not essential - Full training is given.
Need to be available to start work in the coming week and free for the next 3 months.
