This role is for an E, C & I Engineer who will be integral to the Engineering department, bringing their skills and knowledge to the fore in the industrial manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes

Description

Working within our Maintenance Team you will ensure maintenance work is executed efficiently and on time to drive plant reliability supporting operational efficiency. As an E,C&I Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining requirement used to drive, monitor and control engineering systems across the plant

  • Providing technical support, including the installation and fault diagnosis of electrical, instrumentation and control equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines across all E,C&I and asset management activities.
  • Train staff in the use of new systems and procedures.
  • Developing and executing asset maintenance and replacement plans to optimise asset performance, minimise downtime, and reduce overall maintenance costs;

Profile

  • The successful candidate will preferably have undergone a recognised apprenticeship scheme have a minimum of 3 years experience in an electrical, control and instrumentation maintenance team within a heavy engineering manufacturing environment and will have gained appropriate qualifications in their associated trade.
  • They will be familiar with at the minimum, 400v electrical distribution and control systems, Advanced Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
  • Familiarity with HV distribution systems would be an advantage but not essential.
