We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced French teacher to join an amazing Secondary School in Berwick. As the sole Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher in the department, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that ignite a passion for the French language and culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in French for KS3/4 students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience preferred, as you will be the only MFL teacher in the department.
  • Strong subject knowledge in French.
