Salary: £26,770 per year

Work Pattern:

• 5 Days - (45 hours per week) shifts between Monday – Saturday
• 4am - 1pm shift

Job description

Fresh Connect is a fresh fruit and vegetable supplier to the hospitality trade. We deliver to Restaurants, Hotels, Schools and Pubs all over Surrey & London areas. We are recruiting drivers to join our friendly team.

You will be required to commute to our Surrey depot, use the companies 3.5 tonne van to deliver the orders and return the van to the depot at the end of the run.

You will not require your own insurance whilst driving the company vehicle.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Deliver all orders with care
• To load (if required) and deliver Fresh Fruit & Vegetables and extras directly to the customers in line with the order sheets, according to company policy's daily.
• Ensure all bulk items, frozen items, dairy and prepared products are checked before leaving and at each delivery each day.
• Follow instructions on round sheets such as instructions of where to leave delivery
• Assist with paperwork and general administration to organise rounds collection, preparation and filing signed delivery notes.
• Ensure deliveries are completed within the required time limits but without compromising on customer service.
• Ensure that the delivery vehicle is kept clean and tidy, inside and out at all times.
• Ensure standard safety/maintenance checks are made each day to the delivery vehicle, and report all faults or incidents to your General Manager immediately.
• Take responsibility for all documentation you need to complete for each shift.
• Ensure any returns or damaged goods or any customer complaints or food quality incidents are reported to the office as soon as possible.
• Support the company's food safety policy by observing good personal hygiene practice and reporting any illness to the General Manager
• Assist other departments if required

The successful candidate will need to be located near Betchworth, RH3: as they must be able to commute to and from our Betchworth depot

Experience:

• Delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)
