About the Role: As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our community-owned shop and café. Youll lead a dedicated team of part-time staff and volunteers, ensuring we provide excellent service to local residents and visitors alike. This role is central to keeping our much-loved shop a thriving hub for the community.
Key Responsibilities of Store Manager:
- Customer Service: Foster a friendly, welcoming environment, ensuring our product range meets customer needs.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of part-time staff and volunteers through effective communication, training, and support.
- Shop Operations: Oversee stock management, order supplies, manage financial targets, and ensure smooth operations.
- Community Engagement: Work closely with the Management Committee to plan marketing activities, update the website and social media, and ensure ongoing community connection.

- Proven retail management or supervisory experience
