Project Manager - Tunnelling package - SnowdoniaRandstad are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to lead a tunnelling subcontractor on a major infrastructure project in Snowdonia. This is a long-term role offering a competitive rate and the opportunity to work on a challenging project within a leading construction company.Payment:
- CIS payment is available for this role.
Responsibilities:* Oversee all aspects of the tunnelling subcontractor's work, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.* Lead and manage a team of project staff, including engineers, site managers, and subcontractors.* Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and quality management procedures specific to tunnelling operations.* Coordinate with the main contractor and other stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.* Identify and manage potential risks and issues, proposing solutions and corrective actions. * Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget. * Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and financial records. Essential Qualifications:* Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong emphasis on tunnelling projects. * A strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2 or APM. * Experience working on complex tunnelling projects, ideally within a challenging environment.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.* Experience managing and coordinating subcontractors.Desirable Qualifications:* Experience working with Hochtief or other leading construction companies.* Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards for tunnelling projects.* Experience with project management software.
