Elevation Accountancy and Finance is seeking a Management Accountant for a full-time, permanent position in the Beverley area.
The role requires at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced finance function and the candidate should be AAT qualified, with a focus on studying for CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualifications.
The position offers a salary of £35,000 to £45,000, along with benefits such as 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working, and study support.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, maintaining the fixed asset register, and supporting VAT returns, among other financial tasks.
The role emphasizes strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in IT software, particularly Excel.

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are looking for a Management Accountant to join one of our fantastic clients in the Beverley area on a full time, permanent basis.

Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Management Accountant who will be working closely alongside the Financial Manager.

Experience:- At least 3 years' experience within a fast-paced finance function- Studying towards a qualified accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)- Strong communication skills at all seniority levels- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines- Confident using IT software, especially Excel- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

Duties of the Management Accountant:- Assisting in the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts- Ability to prepare draft Management Accounts- Reconciling and maintaining Fixed Asset Register- Providing accurate reports to Group- Posting and preparation of Payroll, Accruals and Prepayments- Analysis of Budget v Actual- Support in the preparation of VAT returns- Analysis of KPI's and Variances- Reconciling Control AccountsIf this role looks of interest then please get in touch!
