- Prepare and produce monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Carry out bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and stock reconciliations.
- Manage profit & loss forecasting and provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in budget preparation and periodic financial reforecasts.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately.
- Play a key role in year-end accounts preparation and liaise with auditors.
- Ensure compliance with VAT returns and statutory financial reporting.
- Supervise and mentor a Finance Assistant, supporting their development.
- Maintain cash flow forecasting to ensure financial stability.
- Develop cost-per-unit reports to support financial analysis.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Oversee weekly payroll, monthly salaries, and P11D submissions.
- ACCA/CIMA qualified (or part-qualified with relevant experience).
- Strong experience in management accounts preparation and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience using Sage 200/50 Payroll (advantageous but not essential).
- Ability to confidently liaise with senior management and key stakeholders.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
