Management Accountant | Up to £50k | Beverley | Office Based | Manufacturing This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation where you will be an integral part of the team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and have at least 2 years' experience in finance, be a qualified or part-qualified finance professional with excellent attention to detail.Responsibilities:
  • Perform reconciliations for assigned control accounts and balance sheet items to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and the board reporting pack, ensuring accurate data is available for decision-making.
  • Regularly analyse aged debtor reports and highlight overdue amounts for escalation to the Finance Manager for necessary actions.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Accurately allocate incoming receipts and payments to respective accounts, ensuring timely completion of bank reconciliations.
Experience:
  • A professional accounting qualification or part-qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable but not essential.
  • Exceptional focus on accuracy and detail in all aspects of financial work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to identify business challenges and provide effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines without close supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with large ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, is desirable but not essential.
