A fantastic opportunity to join a growing, owner managed business based in Beverley, East Yorkshire in the role of Part-time Financial Controller. You will be a hands on accountant and will work closely with the Managing Director to help shape the growth of the business and provide valuable support. The role offers a salary of up to £50,000 pro-rata. plus benefits.
Leading the day-to-day finance requirements of the business,your responsibilities as Part-time Financial Controller will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Running the monthly payroll
- Cashflow forecasting
- Bank reconciliations
- Overseeing the office management and admin
- Working with the MD to build budgets and forecasts
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
To be considered for this Part-time Financial Controller position and be successful in post, you will need the following:
- CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (ICAEW) qualification or QBE qualified by equivalent experience
- A proactive and practical “can do” attitude
- Ability to set own deadlines and work without supervision
- Good team player who is keen to be involved with the wider business
- Strong systems knowledge including Xero and Excel
