Supply Chain Team Lead

Working in partnership with a sealants company based in Beverley, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Supply Chain Team Lead. This is a Perm position with a pay rate of (25,000 - 27,000 per anumn)

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 4:45pm

Friday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

A Supply Chain Team Lead is required to support the Supply Chain and Planning Manager within a manufacturing company in Beverley. Working as part of a small team with a shared responsibility for all raw materials, packaging, bought in items and assisting with production planning. Ensuring business requirements relating to Quality, Cost and Delivery of purchased and planned products are achieved.

Job description

Day to day you will be expected to;

  • Responsible for all aspects of work flow related to the Purchasing operation by using an MRP system
  • Raise Purchase Orders for raw materials, packaging and bought in items
  • Raise Production Orders for all manufacturing requirements
  • Liaise with Suppliers on a regular basis to ensure supplier performance is in line with expectations
  • Organise Import documentation
  • Maintain the upkeep of accurate information in relation to all pricing and stock levels
  • Aim towards assisting and producing weekly plan
  • Create monthly reports for the Supply Chain and Planning Manager.
  • Communicate information to relevant parties, (both internal and external) including Customer Services
  • Work to achieve the department's KPI's for Quality, Cost and Delivery of purchased products

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position you must;

* Supply Chain background required

* ERP experience

* Production planning experience

* IT Literate - Excel and word

* Good standard of English and Mathematics

* Polite but forthright telephone manner

* Attention to detail

* Positive outlook with the personality and drive to achieve results
