About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineering Lecturer to join one of our supporting Colleges. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and training to students pursuing careers in the construction industry. This role requires both theoretical and practical instruction to ensure students gain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the field.
What Will You Do?
- Offer career advice and guidance to both learners and employers, helping them navigate through work-based programs.
- Cultivate and sustain strong business relationships to ensure successful outcomes for everyone involved.
- Take an active role in regional promotional events and local college activities, highlighting the incredible opportunities we provide.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and assessments tailored to the needs of learners and employers.
- Track and support learner progress, ensuring they reach their goals, including any functional skills required.
- Foster a learning environment that values individuality and promotes diversity.
- Advocate for the safety and well-being of all learners in your care.
What Are We Looking For?
- A relevant Level 4 qualification or higher in your field of expertise.
- An assessor qualification (or a willingness to acquire one).
- Proven experience in the civil engineering industry.
- Familiarity with Apprenticeship Funding regulations and the Apprenticeship Levy.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Competency in IT and a willingness to travel to support learning and assessments.
