Fire & Security Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular servicing and reactive maintenance of life safety and security systems, ensuring compliance and reliability
  • Utilise electronic PDAs for efficient document control and coordination
  • Manage van stock and support equipment orders
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues for accurate fault finding and repairs
  • Communicate promptly with customers, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction
  • Supervise and train apprentices, contributing to our team's growth
  • Be a part of the companies call out rota:
    • Yorkshire: 1 in 5 Days
    • North West / Lancaster: 1 in 8 Days
    • Standby Rate: £30 Weekday / £50 Weekend + Overtime if Called Out.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience as a Fire and/or Security Engineer, with relevant accreditation (NACOSS and BAFE)
  • Proficient in IT, including PDA usage and Microsoft Office applications
  • Must possess a full, clean driving license
  • Successful completion of a full DRB check and British Standard Security Screening (BS7858)
