  • The overall earnings, including base salary and uplifts, range from £60,000 to £66,000.

Shorterm Group are delighted to be partnered with a global engineering/manufacturing business in their search for a number of full time, permanent Site Managers.Currently they have projects live across the globe and are looking to appoint people ASAP. You'll mostly be working on oil/gas & renewable sites but the client does cover a variety of industries so no one project is ever the same! Your duties will include: Manage suppliers and subcontractors effectively to meet the needs of each projectEnsure that the site team are fully trained for their role and all QHSE updates are communicatedEnsure that the site team are fully aware of the scope of work and their responsibilities whilst working on the projectRecognise opportunity and potential for increased value and report to the project team in a timely mannerManage costs effectively to meet the projects requirementsProvide accurate and transparent reports to the project team, inclusive of daily and weekly records and H&S reportsPromote the development of staff working within the site teamHands-on application of materials as and when requiredManaging site teams to ensure their understanding of responsibilities and scope of workExperience for this role is desirable although not essential as full training will be provided. However, you must have the following for your application to be successful:* Driving license* In date passport* COVID vaccinations (due to international travel)* Experience with COSHH* Live within reasonable distance from a major airportDesirable:* Coating/painting/insulation experienceYou'll be expected to be away from home around 6-12 weeks at a time, and when you do return home you'll be paid a base rate whilst in between projects and on standby.
