Tradewind Recruitment is actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding school in the East Riding/East Hull area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support, fostering an environment conducive to individualized learning.
  • Develop and execute tailored learning plans in conjunction with the classroom teacher and school team.
  • Monitor pupil progress, regularly reporting findings to both the teacher and parents/guardians.
  • Cultivate a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere for pupils.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with EYFS/Nursery-aged pupils, preferably within a Primary School setting.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish robust connections with pupils, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
  • Patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach in supporting young learners with SEND.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
