Your RoleAs a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support classroom activities and assist teachers in creating a positive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one support for students with SEMH/SEN needs, aiding their academic progress and understanding of the curriculum.
  • Help prepare teaching materials and organise resources for lessons.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with pupils, fostering respect and confidence.
  • Collaborate with the wider school team to share ideas, strategies, and best practices.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in supporting students with behavioural challenges.
  • Strong references showcasing your ability to work effectively in similar roles.
  • A comprehensive CV detailing your full employment history.
