We are looking for a meticulous and seasoned Payroll Manager to oversee our global payroll operations, including off-payroll payments. The role entails close collaboration with external payroll providers to ensure precise and timely payroll processing. Working in tandem with the Accounts Department, the Payroll Manager will maintain financial records and ensure accurate recording of payroll nominals.  Key Responsibilities:- Supervising all business payrolls to maintain high accuracy standards.- Collaborating with the operations team to address any arising issues.- Assisting in acquiring and managing necessary licenses for global payroll operations.- Meeting reporting obligations, including HMRC intermediary reports.- Validating invoices for freelance workers.- Generating essential business reports for senior management.- Handling multiple smaller payrolls efficiently.- Leading and developing the payroll team.- Implementing and revising procedures as needed.- Occasional travel to domestic and international offices/sites.- Reconciling payroll data, processing journal entries, and ensuring accurate maintenance of payroll-related accounts in collaboration with the Accounts Department.- Supporting audits and fulfilling payroll-related reporting requirements.  Reporting to:- Group HR Manager  Additional Skills:- Team player- Strong leadership abilities- Positive influencer- Proficient written and verbal communicator- Methodical work approach- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills- Proficiency in Excel and IT systems.
