A highly respected Yorkshire law firm with a strong presence in the legal sector is looking for an experienced Corporate Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join their team. With over 200 years of history, the firm has built a trusted reputation for delivering high-quality legal services.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a background in corporate transactions to lead cases, manage high-calibre clients, and enhance technical and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on corporate finance, acquisitions, mergers, MBOs, and joint ventures

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including shareholder and partnership agreements

  • Providing guidance on company formations, LLP compliance, and governance

  • Handling distributor, agency, and franchise agreements

  • Experience in employment, intellectual property, or commercial property law is advantageous

The Ideal Candidate
  • 6+ years PQE with experience in corporate and commercial law

  • A proven ability to manage complex transactions and client relationships

  • Strong negotiation and commercial awareness

  • Regular access to a car is preferred
