Role: Harvest ManagerLocation: East YorkshireSalary: £40,000-£50,000 per annumOur client is a highly reputable, impressive fresh produce supplier and they are now looking for a talented Harvest Manager to join them. This role will be fast moving, challenging and very rewarding.Reporting into the Operations Director, you will need to ensure all aspects of the picking and influencing an efficient harvesting function that is running in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will need to bring energy and dynamism to lead your team effectively to increase performance and communicate any relevant information correctly across all stakeholders, delivering industry leading service levels for customers in retail.The company are looking for a strong leader who will utilise current resource effectively, training and coaching current teams and on boarding new staff. You will need to assess crop on a daily basis, monitor yields, minimise waste and also promote a strong health & safety culture as part of your remit.
