PRU Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time teacher in a SEMH School based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, starting ASAP and lasting until at least Easter 2025. Ideally the applicant will be looking for a permanent job, as the school would like to take someone on a temporary to permanent deal. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, between £31,650 and £49084. This scales to a daily rate of £162.31 to £251.71.

This role will involve teaching students with SEMH and Behavioural challenges, so a candidate who has experience working in similar settings or an interest in doing so is essential for this role. Class sizes are small, up to around 5 students, and the teaching follows the primary model. QTS is essential for this role. Students are aged between 11 and 18.

Located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, this school is close to Beverley and York, and is easily commutable from York. The school is looking for strong practitioners who can drive excellent teaching and learning in the school and follow their values of nurturing and success. You will be working with a new Head Teacher who is looking to drive the school onto bigger and better things.
