Tutor
Location: Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire
Contract: Flexible, Part-Time
Rate of Pay: up to £35 per hour

GSL Education is looking for dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised tuition to students outside of a traditional classroom setting. As a 1:1 Tutor, you will work with students who are unable to attend mainstream education due to a variety of reasons, including medical, behavioural, or special educational needs. Your role will be to plan and deliver tailored lessons, supporting students in subjects such as Maths, English, and Science.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum qualification of a degree; ideally you will hold Qualified Teacher Status.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring, ideally within a school or alternative provision.
• Strong subject knowledge in core areas (Maths, English, Science).
• Ability to engage and motivate students with different learning needs.
• Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to teaching.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
