McCarthy Marland (Recycling) Ltdare a well established waste management company operating in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Somerset and surrounding areas.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Yard Supervisor for our Gloucestershire depot, just outside Tetbury.
Key Responsibilities
- To supervise, monitor, motivate, and train all yard and transfer station staff and lead the site teams to ensure waste streams are collected and segregated correctly
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, our site licence and our EA permit.
- Mobile plant management, to include liasing with suppliers, daily checks, and maintenance schedules are followed
- Overseeing site rules and safety procedures, ensuring Health & Safety rules are strictly adhered to.
- Must be computer literate, with the ability to maintain training records and oversee online training with the training portal
- Ensure monthly TBT and serious incident reports are delivered to staff in a timely manner
- Carry out administrative tasks associated with the role, including daily checks, staff cover during operational hours, overtime and holiday rotas
Your Skills
- Ideally COTC or WAMITAB qualified
- Experience ofTransfer Station rules
- Experienced Mobile Plant operator an advantage, not essential
- Basic computer skills, Word and Excell
- Full Weighbridge training provided
- Full driving licence
