- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful financial reporting to senior management.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Assist with accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial data using Sage 200.
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Sage 200 is essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders across the business.
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred but not essential.
