Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Wyre Forest District Council for an experienced Arborist to provide a professional arboricultural service in respect of the maintenance of Council owned trees both within and outside the District, and deliver the purpose by using their skills, training, vehicles, plant and equipment, to carry out all key tasks.

You will be required to undertake all aspects of arboriculture and forestry with particular emphasis on climbing and high-level tree work operations to industry standards, work as a lead climber, assist with the activities of a small team of arboricultural staff, ensuring this is carried out safely, efficiently, competently and to a high standard, to survey/inspect trees using relevant software.

It is essential that you possess all relevant NPTC Units (Level 3 awards CS30, CS31, CS32, CS35, CS38, CS39, CS40 or equivalent), full driving license, a minimum of 2 years' arboricultural experience and are physically capable to climb trees to a great height and have practical experience at various arboricultural operations.

Interviews will be held face to face, successful candidate must be willing to start ASAP.
