ROLE – Engineering ManagerSALARY - £45,000- £60,000 per annum, dependent on experienceTYPE – PermanentLOCATION – Kidderminster My client is a specialist manufacturer and they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team in the Kidderminster area on a permanent basis.The Engineering Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Experience in a similar Design Manager/ Engineering Manager role previously
  • Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency with using SolidWorks and Vault or similar 
  • Previous exposure to using MS Project would be ideal
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Engineering Manager role will involve:
  • Leading and developing the design team
  • Managing the delivery of engineering tasks / communicating with vendors and partners
  • Always driving continuous improvement in the department
  • Directly managing reports, setting KPI’s and carrying out Reviews and training as required
  • design and detail drawings using 3D CAD software
  • Supporting the other platform design teams as necessary through collaboration with other colleagues
  • Ensuring all work meets the relevant standards
  • Ensuring compliance with their ISO standards
