Are you an electrical engineer interested in receiving extensive training that will see you become a specialist AutoCAD user and a vehicle conversion engineer? The company operate on a global basis offering vehicle modifications predominately to the public sector. The company are renowned for their friendly workplace, customer-oriented approach and their ambition to promote internally.

You will be working for a well-established business within the manufacturing and production department. This is varied role where you will be involved in multiple projects and be responsible for diagnosing electrical faults, supporting with technical drawings as well as looking at ongoing product improvements. Full training on vehicle conversions, CAD and product development will be provided.

The role would suit a candidate with experience working on electrical systems in any type of vehicle including cars, buses, HGV's and more, with an interest to develop AutoCAD skills and be involved with ongoing projects surrounding product developments. The role will be split between the workshop/shopfloor and office. You will spend around 70% of your time in the office where you will provide internal departments and external suppliers with technical drawings, billing of materials and technical support. The rest of your time will be spent on the shopfloor/workshop where you will assist in the diagnostics of electrical faults and liaise with fitters and electricians.
