Electrical Engineer£30,000 - £35,000 + benefitsKidderminsterOverview:Our client is a leading manufacturer in their field of specialism. They design, manufacture and sell adapted commercial vehicles both in the UK and internationally. As they continue to expand their engineering and manufacturing team to support sales growth, they are now looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the business based in Kidderminster. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out diagnosis of electrical faults.
- Work with the engineering team to assist on product developments.
- Provide and support manufacturing and external customers with technical drawings, BOMS and technical information.
- Actively work to improve efficiencies in the engineering and production processes.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant standards and regulations relating to products manufactured.
- Involvement in new and ongoing projects.
Person Specification:
- Previous electrical engineering knowledge, ideally gained in the automotive / heavy goods / plant machinery or similar sectors.
- Knowledge of 2D CAD / Auto CAD.
- Knowledge of Solidworks would be advantageous.
- A relevant professional electrical qualification or a demonstrable background of practical experience.
- Able to understand schematics and technical drawings.
- Comfortable working in a production environment.
Working hours 8.30 - 4.30 Mon - Thurs and 8.30 - 4 Fri - 37 hour working week.
