Maintenance Engineer - Kidderminster

Shifts:  4 on 4 off - Day and night

What You Will Do:

  • Install and maintain all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct fault finding and repairs, enhancing the reliability of production processes.
  • Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faults, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Fault finding on PLC’s, Drives, Inverters and pneumatic systems.
  • Contribute to safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation and adhere to the company's quality system & standards in accordance with BSEN ISO 9001.

What You Will Bring:

  • A minimum level 3 qualification in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline, coupled with experience in a manufacturing/factory environment.
  • Apprenticeship served
  • A strong commitment to safety, with experience in health and safety best practices.
  • Experience and knowledge of PLCs, electrical motors, and pneumatics.
  • Excellent team-playing skills, communication abilities, and a flexible approach to work.
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.

You will have current or previous experience working as multi-skilled maintenance engineer, shift engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, automation engineer, maintenance technician.
