Robertson Bell are supporting a commercially orientated not for profit organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent contract.

This is a hybrid role, based west of Kidderminster, with on-site parking and public transport links close by. On average, you will be required in the office one day per week however, this may fluctuate.  

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:

  • Preparing robust management accounts with supporting commentary and analysis.
  • Taking a deep dive into the financial data which formulates the management accounts to ensure accuracy and develop processes across the business, where needed.  
  • Partnering with stakeholders, not just to simplify complex financial information but to add value by providing insight into numbers and influence decision-making.
  • Supporting the business with new opportunities, reviewing the financial viability and return on new investments.

This role will be well suited to someone who enjoys driving change and isn’t afraid to challenge the norm.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A background in management accounting, ideally within the not for profit or public sector.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience providing financial support to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel skills, including manipulating and analysing data outside of the finance system.
  • Made progress completing a CCAB or CIMA qualification.
