This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality finishes and is eager to work within a dynamic environment. You will be working as part of the paint line team, ensuring that the application of powder paint meets company standards.The Duties of a Powder Coater:

  • Set up and operate powder coating equipment.
  • Manually apply powder paint with precision, ensuring a controlled and even finish.
  • Operate automatic powder reciprocators efficiently.
  • Load products onto the overhead conveyor, ensuring line gabs are minimised
  • Test and adjust pre-treatment fluids according to required specifications.
  • Pack and securely wrap finished products ready for despatch.
  • Log production operations onto the company's FMS platform accurately.
  • Maintaining strict quality control across all operations in line with company procedures.
  • Reporting any issues related to plant, quality, safety, or operations to the team leader.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.

The Requirements of a Powder Coater:

  • Proven ability to apply powder paint to achieve an even and uniform surface coating.
  • Strict adherence to wearing the required PPE and safety equipment.
  • Flexibility to rotate tasks with team members to ensure continuous production.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and undergoing training in company operations.
  • Frequent bending, stretching, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
