The Company
A niche MSP based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, are looking for an experienced IT Technician to join their small team. The business has a number of unique branches ranging from traditional IT Support to bespoke photocopying solutions. Whilst this role wont tap into all the areas of the business, you'll get the opportunity to train up on a range of new technologies. This role is focused more so around the traditional IT Support arm of the business.
The Role
The role is mostly focused around supporting the IT and Infrastructure of the businesses clients. The role has a being on the phone element to it as you'll be speaking to clients on a daily basis, resolving and producing effective solutions to a wide range of their technical problems and issues. You'll have the opportunity to get your hands on a wide range of technologies that cover technical areas such as Networking, Microsoft Support, Infrastructure and Hardware. You'll be undertaking not just the BAU side of things, but also be involved in some project work too. Occasional site visits will be necessary so having a Clean UK Drivers License is a non-negotiable.
Areas Of Strength We Are Looking For
- Microsoft 365: SharePoint, Intune, Azure.
- Firewall Management: Watchguard and Draytek (Routes & Switches)
- RMM Systems: Ideally N-Able
- Servers Installation: Windows 2016+
- Network Configuration
- Projects: Experience working on projects and meeting set deadlines
Desirables:
- Previous experience of working within pre-sales.
- Knowledge of photocopiers and CCTV will also be advantageous, but by no means a necessity for the role.
- Cybersecurity experience also advantageous
